January 26

Million Minute Marathon (20 minutes of reading school-wide)

9:00 a.m. – 9:20 a.m.

Special Area will be suspended during this time.

Begin Door Decorations Contest

“Hats Off” to Reading! Wear a hat of your choice for $1 and donate to the purchase of books for the school.

Tuesday

January 27

Kick-up your Heels and Read! Wear bright, colorful, silly socks to show support of literacy.

Wednesday

January 28

Be a “Good Sport” and Read! Wear sports/team clothing to show support for literacy.

*Leaders are Readers: District and community stakeholders will read to our students.

Thursday

January 29

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: “Snuggle-up” with a good book! Wear pajamas or slippers to show support for literacy.

MIDDLE SCHOOL: “CRAZY” about reading! Wear mismatched clothing or a crazy hair style to show support for literacy.

*(Cross grade reading) Middle School students will read to PreK-5^th grade students.
